Catherine Bossom is an independent specialist with over 18 years experience within the luxury beauty and retail industry. Catherine’s experience ranges across some of the world’s best known luxury brands.
Catherine began her career with Harrods as a graduate trainee and over 9 years, she gained experience in retail management, marketing and PR before being promoted to Buyer for – Perfumery & Cosmetics.
In 2009 Catherine took on a new challenge with Kenneth Green Associates, as their Head of PR. Her primary focus was to implement a new way of PR working for the company. Catherine implemented strategies to ensure a commercial benefit of PR for the business was introduced, coupled with new reporting methods and systems.
Catherine then joined Selfridges as Beauty Buying Manager and played an integral part of the ideas developed for Beauty Workshop, many can be seen instore today.
Headhunted in 2011 to work for Space NK as Head of Buying, Catherine successfully launched a wide range of exclusive brands into the UK market and single-handedly spearheaded a number of new business strategies.
Moving to the brand side of the industry Catherine joined L’Oréal Luxe UK as Sales Director for YSL Beaute in 2015 to share her expert knowledge of how to strategically work with retailers to grow brands.
In 2017 Catherine started her own agency to bring all of her expertise together to ensure both brands and retailers gain her unique perspective on how to help grow the luxury landscape.
